No Problem

Everyone always says this about everything: “No problem.” Judging by the frequency of use, there seems to be quite a problem. Otherwise, why is there such a need to say it, to hear it?

In business life, as in everyday life, there is anxiety at the core of distress.

The feelings of your colleague who did not say hello back when you entered the office, the haste of the work approaching the deadline, the attitude of those in charge of this job during the performance evaluation period, your income melting in the face of macro-economic dynamics, the e-mail and Whatsapp correspondence you tried to read between the lines because you could not sense the tone and feeling.

It is the anxiety at the root of all. There is one thing they all have in common: In any transaction, including communication, it is impossible for one party to master all the inputs. That is, there will always be uncertainty about variables other than our own in the progress of a business.

Perhaps the first step to seeing what is as it is is not the ambiguous field of the other person, but the reflection of what is in us, that is, understanding the distress in ourselves.

It seems like a good idea to stop translating small signs into big ones and place most of the playing field in coordinates within our power.

Especially if a sincerity from the bottom of the heart is added to this formula, there is really no problem!
